In the Goldsmith SACD I love so much and have heard probably-hundreds of times, I hear more low-level detail that I've never heard. And it's not false detail brought on by edginess, as the sounds of instruments with high-frequency harmonics are just as sweet as they ever were.I LOVE IT!
Hmm...I wonder what it would sound like with a Teflon-film bypass.
