Those 470K/33k input resistors establish input impedance (since a cap is in-between them & the 1-meg grid leak R12 & R48); perhaps reduce the 1-meg grid leak bias resistors R12 & R48 to about 470K -100K when removing the 470K/33K network. You may likewise alter the Xtal phono input to realize three identical line inputs. When by-passing the tone controls, the Volume pot wipers should go directly to the Function Selector rotary switch terminals #1 & #2, replacing the former Treble pot wiper connections. With the 6au6 now out-of-circut, it makes no diff whether it is triode-strapped or not.
