Pioneer r-707 or Teac 3440?

Hello,
I need advice on which reel to reel tape deck to buy for $100. Up for consideration is a Pioneer R-707 with heads in good condition and the other is a Teac 3440 with some issues with the take up reel (not sure exactly what's wrong yet). So which should I buy?
