Hi rotovater,Thanks for explaining the play trim. I've got a lot of old tapes and some recorded on a denon unit.
I have a Nak ZX9 which does not play my older tapes well but it does sound great with tapes recorded on it.
You are lucky to be in Europe where there seems to be an active market for tape decks. I'm in Australia and good decks are hard to come by.
