How large is your cassette collection of new old stock?
I am collecting since a few years allready! My collection has grown to about 500 tapes including about 300 brand new type IV tapes bought for about 1-3 USD each. Don't ask me. I will never sell them!
But I have to say that the time to start a collection is over.
Wether you are allready sitting on a collection or you just could forget the cassette format because no quality tape is available at a fair price and go staight to reel to reel because Quantegy and RMGI is offering brand new quality tape. This is my personal opinion and advice.
On the other side, you can get good results with standard tape like TDK SA or Maxell XL-II which is still available in shops. TYPE IV offer just a little fidelity more but it is a question if it is worth the price.
