Thank you very much for the comparison chart. I have never seen that before. I am partial to the Denon DR-M 1-4 series. I have both the DRM3 & DRM2. I recently bought a mint DRM3 on Ebay for $45 which included the original box, manual, sales brochures, and the guy even threw in a cool TDK cassette demagnitizer.

Anyway, it is curious looking at that chart that the range of decks that I mentioned had the best specs, at least as far as frequency response goes. All the way to 23k with metal tapes! I would very much suggest these decks to anyone here....especially now that I have 2 and out of the market! But seriously, they have a lot of cool features not seen on other ones like computerized tape counter that even calculates to the near second the amount of tape left on the cassette during play/record.

I see them on Ebay for real cheap like under $50 for the DRM 1-3, and a bit more for the ultimate DRM4.
