Probably very little difference. However, if I were to make the choice between the two, I would pick the Tascam. Teac and Tascam are the same company. Tascam is their more robust studio or professional line. Teac caters more to the consumer. Tascam units probably have more robust power supplies and built to take more of a pounding.Hence, Tascam (when new) was also more expensive.
