Hi all,
I am really hoping someone can help me out or give me advice. I have a Nakamichi CR-3A 3-head cassette deck from the mid-late'80s which stopped working last night. I can't seem to figure out the problem.
I was playing Genesis' Live album from 1973 when all of a sudden the tape seemed to lock in place. I took the tape out and replaced it with another, assuming that perhaps the tape was old and broken. Well, the CR-3A did the same thing with the next 3 tapes I played on it.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this? Is there anything I can do about it? I really hope I don't have to replace anything. This thing has been my baby since I bought it.
