Switch in the tensioner arm? Try moving them and see if the motor kicks in. It's extremely unlikely the lube dried up so badly that the capstan doesn't turn at all, even after that much time. I'm not really familiar with that machine but most have a switch in the tensioner arm so that when the tape ends the motor and pinch rollers disengage.-A
