... on any connectors for the transport control buttons. It may also be possible to squirt a little contact cleaner directly into the switch for the button. I suppose it might be a PCB crack as well, and those can be a pain to sort.The number of problems which boil down to intermittent connections within connectors is amazing - I've given up counting how many bits of hi-fi have cooperated fully after a quick go with some switch cleaner.
