Lets see how smart you guys are. I have an hhb 850 cdr feeding a benchmark dac1 with a digital co ax cable. The benchmark drives directly (comando) a McIntosh MC350 with the ballanced connections which drives my magnapan 1.6qr's. I also have a technics RS1520 1/4 inch, 1/2 track that I run 15 ips. It uses an outboard dbx model 150 type one noise reduction. The dbx is an unballanced semi pro model. I want to record from the benchmark directly using the ballanced feeds but can't because my dbx unit is unballanced. I need to switch to a pro model outboard dbx type one model which is one rack space and rack mountable. Question: can you tell me the model number of dbx type one processor that is rack mountable, one unit space, two channel, and has fully ballanced ins and outs? I want to drive my mc 350 directly from the outputs of the dbx in a fully ballanced mode using the output control on the RS1520. If you know the answer to this question you really are a tape recording fool. Thanks Bob
