Why do portable cassette players sound better while walking outside than they do indoors? You would think that they'd sound the same, right? You know, since room boundaries and room dimensions don't affect the sound indoors, so you can't blame it on room interaction. So, what has changed? Why is the sound more natural, more open, more airy outside. Any guesses?
