This is what you get then you put someone who doesn't give a shit in front of something special. To him it is just something his employer provides... I don't think an owner of a one-person studio would ever commit such an atrocity.

You can see those idiots' handiwork on many fine machines - Studer or Aiwa makes no difference to them.
