Congrats, it's a nice deck, I have two of them. The Radio Shack tape is ok, nothing special. It's probably best on normal bias (note that the bias and eq settings only help get closer to ideal - only the tape that the deck was calibrated with will be a perfect match, and it's hard to know what that was after all these years or even if it had ever been aside from when manufactured).
eBay is of course the easiest place to get tapes, if not the cheapest. Occasionally I've found some at local used record stores, but it's rare. Same with estate sales.
