Tandberg 3014A plays way to fast

I just went back to make a recording after a warm up and my tape was cewed all up. I pulled it out. Tried playing another and it will only play in a very fast speed. I pushed all the buttons, cleaned capstans and pinch rollers and powered unit off for an hour. No luck. I hope it will only be a quick fix. Potometer(Spelling) or something. It has performed flawlessly for over a year since I had it sent off to Approved Audio to have it overhauled. Bought it on Audiogon. Any input appreciated.
