I have a Pioneer CT-F9191 tape deck. Yes, I purchased it on Ebay. I was told it had some minor flaws. Belts specifically. It could use new ones, but was working fine untill this pm.
The audio quit. Nothing through the headphones (they work fine). With a tape running the meters show no indication of audio all of a sudden. Not even any buzz as before when working. Have not checked the output through rear ports. I wanted to make sure it worked first before adding it to my computer system. Also, now the Dolby light does not work when button pushed.
I have the basic testing equipment, meter, big screw driver and hammer. Some basic knowledge of electronics. Well, maybe a little more that Can some point me in a direction?
