I finally spent some time with an alignment tape and my RS1500, and I got a pretty nice response for both NAB and Nagra Master EQ. Turns out my 2 track head was a little bit out of alignment, which reduced the HF output a bit. After I got it adjusted R1 needed to be tweaked a little to get the EQ right on. I'll get out my DVM tomorrow, measure the new R1 setting and post the numbers.
