Sure.It is a well built machine...plays both 3-3/4 and 7-1/2 ips tapes in its most saleable form...records/playsback both conventional and high-output tapes.
Frequency response at 7.5ips is essentiall flat from 30hz to 22khz. at 3.75ips it is 30hz to about 10khz, with a mild rolloff above that.
Electronics are good, not great, but more of a limitation on recording than on playback. Meters are reasonably accurate.
Has switchable tape for tape thickness. Does not have tape reversing (you'd need a 4070 for that).
