One of my New Year's resolutions is to upgrade my Akai GX266II. It sounds outstanding in my system now, but I took the back off last year and saw a lot of room for improvement. I know I am going to wire in a new AC plug to replace the current lamp cord, replace the rca jacks that are made from a metal that looks a lot like cheap tin and replace some of the internal wiring with silver. What would other inmates suggest as quality improvements? And yes I know it is somewhat silly to fix something that is not, in fact, broken.
