just a thought: build a steel and wood rack 19" wide and 7' tall, anchor it to the wall and store your stuff in it. It will take minimum floor space and you will not need to get rid of the stuff. It will be conversation piece for sure.
For selling on ebay feedback is the most important, then photos and the blurb.
You will lose a lot if not having 100% feedback. There are intermediaries for selling stuff, but they do not fetch good prices as the original sellers.
Selling on Audiogon is easier, especially if you are willing to speak with prospective buyers over the phone, they will see you are fellow collector, not reseller of the attic junk.
I would sell there. But again, you need digital camera. Nothing fancy, any 3MP will do.
Perhaps you can share with us what you intend to sell and place an ad in Asylum for sale for starters.
