A question was asked about the quality of the Analogy Peter Erskine tapes. I have Volume 3 (30 minutes) in both 15 ips (CCIR) and 7.5 ips (NAB) two-track versions. Musically, this recording is quite satisfying, though I had issues with the mix-down and the sonics - is the tape really better than the high-resolution file? In any case, I wrote a review of the tapes which has not yet been published. (I was actually waiting for a response from Roberto Vigo.) If anyone would like to read the review, I'd be happy to post it here.
