A currently limiting PLC will 'suck the life' out of most amps.

Even my Panamax with dedicated hi-power outlets......and a retail price of over a grand, was subject to this. I eventually went with a dedicated line and PSAudio 'soloist' outlet for amp and sub ONLY.
