How to clean Chassis/Components ?

Hi,

I have unearthed a bunch of my old Dynaco and Marantz eqpt from my attic, garage, closets, etc. I am wondering if there is a way to "spray clean" a whole chassis, assembled, to get some of the dust and grime off without dissassembling the whole thing ? Perhaps some sort of MEK or acetone spray ? However I do not want to dissolve the lettering off the components etc. ANy suggestions ? THX.
