Why are posts disappearing from my thread?

Several posts to my thread "Accuphase P-102 and Yamaha NS-1000 M" (amp/preamp asylum) from myself and others (at least one from George Mann) have disappeared.

I mean, really disappeared - no refresh, restart, or flush of local information brings them back.

Why does this happen?
