I really don't know what you're trying to tell me. It sounds like you might have gotten a user login error. That could happen if the db server was down or couldn't connected to. It could also happen if you entered an incorrect password. If yopu didn't have all the required info, it would tell you what was missing, like a subject line or a message. If you do an (nt) type message, you still need to type something in the message dialogue.
