I'll be doing a major update on the search after we update the db to V4.0.1. Right now, I'll doing a workaround to support 'and' searches which isn't very efficent so I've defaulted to 'or' for a good reason. The new version of mySQL supports must include and exclude words and is claimed to be 2X faster. For example, in the new release, 'CDP +transport -sony' would find everything with the words CDP and transport and exclude everything with the word, sony. It also supports wild cards like 300* to find 300, 300B, etc.The other 2 items are also things that I've been thinking about and have been waiting for the db upgrade to do.
BTW: Right now, typing the word, 'and', in a search from the main page will force an 'and' search. I probably never told anyone that, but had done it to make it similate the old MS Index Server.
