Threads keep disappearing ???

Is there some reason the non-new threads here on the OTL asylum keep disappearing? Don't see that on any of the other forums I view here. It would be nice to be able to reference past posts.

Does the moderator have a 'tidy' fetish?? The forum certain is clean - devoid of content..... I was happy when former posts reappeared for a while, but apparently the one that controls that is now back from holiday, and they are all gone again.
