You could limit the Automagic reply feature to non-AOL accounts. Telling asylum members that they can't have a goodie because of their ISP will probably be more effective than trying to get members to review a spam list if one existed. Maybe e-mail all AOL users in the asylum with the current directions needed to white list the asylum.

I've been to that rejected mail movie with AOL several times myself. We don't make support committments to customers who are limited to an AOL account. We don't send any files to AOL customers that are not zipped. I use a one-way satellite system. At one time AOL made a change that blocked e-mail if the incoming and outgoing mail server addresses/URLs were different. It took a week or so to convince them that having different ISPs to send and receive was not a spam signature or an unauthorized relay. This was a couple of years ago before they got their own broadband offering.
