Four months? That's absurd! Viridian made all of the relevant points, the most important being (my bold):

"...but the buyer has an obligation as well. And that obligation is to notify the seller, in a reasonable amount of time, if the gear arrives and does not conform to the description, or rating, in the ad."

Four months later is not close to being reasonable. I agree with V, you should stick to your guns and not give in. Please let us know what PayPal decides.
