never log into any accounts pay pal/bank/ebay/ whatever, through an email. pay pal/ebay do not ask you to click a link to their sites. they will tell you to log into your account on their official website but they wont link it to an email. so yes its probably a scam. they(the crooks) are due to start getting more creative so pay attention to the web adresses when you log in.
