A good example is shown in the link below. Since he didn't write that they are the original boxes, you can be 100% sure they are not original. Yet he shows them to give the APPEARANCE that they are original and while he doesn't write this, a "newbie" tube buyer may assume that the tubes are NOS.
Twenty bids and $183 for a pair of USED Telefunken 6DJ8 without original boxes? I'll give you 2 to 1 that there was shill bidding on that auction as well.
