I just wrote several paragraphs on why buyers should only purchase from sellers who take Paypal or some other form of direct credit card payment (NOT BIDPAY!), but deleted it. Instead, I will just write that the protection credit card payment offers, via your credit card company, is "golden".Is Paypal perfect? Obviously not (I have read my share of Paypal horror stories). However, it's the best option buyers have. Of course this applies to eBay buying as well as Audiogon.
