Sir,
When we built the Napoleon back in 1995 the first time we bought a lot of silver magnetic wire from Phelps Dodge. I wanted the HV secondary of the power transformer, the choke (120H/70ma) and the output to be all low ox silver. I probably still have the order here somewhere. %99.9997 was the worst of it tested.
The Napoleon used the WA025 output which was a version of Mike's QS025 (I have 2 pairs of these). It was an 8W/60ma output. Later Mike and I took the FS030 and created the AG030 (have 3 pairs left of these) 15W/80ma basically 2x the size of the QS025 and I made Cardinal's out of those in silver.
My best amp ever, just shipped a pair of these used the Choke from the Napoleon (sorry 1 left for some reason... probably did a silver 45 amp with 1) with the AG030 and called it the Triton Silver Signature. That is real silver and pearl inlay from a Luthier friend of mine in Ebony on the front.
Thanks,
Gordon
