These measurements illustrate what I said below about excessive interleaving increasing and complicating the transformer parasitic capacitance(s).
For what it's worth, I recently designed an experimental 3Kohm parafeed output transformer with less than the usual amount of interleaving. We were able to measure about 9mH and 450pF of parasitics (single resonance at 88kHz), so it is possible. This was for 7.5 watts at 15Hz; about 6-7 pounds (3Kg) if I recall correctly.
