I have both original Korneff and newer (DC heated) Yamamoto amps.
(Yes, I know the question is regarding the Korneff but it is worth seeing the amps and the tubes as they do relate, skip to last paragraph for a more direct answer, rambling alert).

Having tried various tubes in both, you really cannot go wrong with the EML's or the RCA Globes but they are different flavors.

If you are looking try try new tubes, the the old globes or the new EMLs' are your ponies.

I find both that 45's are both very fast and also posses a certain bit of euphonic depth with just beautiful and addictive decay, I'd say the EML are more of the former while the former are more of the latter.

Same can be said of the amps, as the Yamamoto is more coming at you while the Korneff is more of a come hither.

Again, keeping in mind this is a matter of degree and mood and either tube is simply a joy in either amp:

Korneff tilts towards tone and harmonics.
Yamamoto tilts towards speed and micro attack.

RCA globe tilts towards tone and harmonics.
EML tilts towards speed and micro attack.

I am currently running the RCA's in the Yammy, the EML's in the Korneff.
The Korneff is my 'soulmate amp' it just channels the music for me. The Yammy comes close, but there is one one soulmate, no?

Having said all that... I dropped in the TungSols a while back and you know, totally magic too. In either amp.

But to answer your question more directly: I do think the EML's will bring you a different level to the Tungsols: faster, clearer, more extended. But keep the Tungsols around as they have plenty of magic dust in them and you will enjoy going back to them.
