My XD845 Music Angel is a newer version which is different from your schematic. I am experimenting with bias settings and there is a 10 ohm resistor on the cathode of the 845 tube which I measure .9 volts
to give me 90ma of current ( currently )and plate voltage is 850 volts. Some amplifier designers run 845`s at 60 - 70 ma and sometimes you have to play music you know well and experiment with this setting.
The small bias voltage pots are hard to get at on the power supply board and changes a bit during warm up.
I also changed the input and driver tubes to NOS types but retained
the chinese 845`s and the sound is quite good now but remember to let the amp run for about an hour before you listen to it.
