I have been using the 845b as well as the China Sino 845 tubes. I am under the impression that because the amp is being run very conservatively (845 B+) we can use any 845 tube we so choose to use. Joe did tell me that if I wanted to use the KR tube I should (but not a must) have the amp re-biased for more voltage and less current. You might want to give Joe a call at Art Audio if you want to use the KR, he has always taken my call.............Bob
