Instead of wires twisted around each other solenoidal[y] (like quad design), they are interwoven together.He said that in the red/white cable (26 guage), the two reds and the two whites are connected to form the send and return legs. In this way, each twisted pair forms each leg.
And in the blue/white cable, the two blues and the two whites are connected to form the send and return legs. In this case, one wire from each twisted pair is used to make up the send and return legs.
He said the latter method gives the best performance in terms of radiated fields and susceptibility to external fields.
