I've had situations where the fuse wouldn't blow, but it was definitely limiting the power output of an RF amp. Replacing the fuse brought the amp back up to full output, which means that the fuse itself was resistive and limiting current. How this is possible, i don't know, but i've run into this more than a few times. Sean
>PS... For those that are going to bring up corroded contacts on the fuse, they were visibly fine and no other cleaning was performed. If it were a matter of pulling the old fuse and putting in the new fuse being enough to clean the contacts, that wasn't it either. I had pulled the original fuses and made sure that they were all good, so it wasn't a matter of a poor initial contact. If it was, reseating the original fuse would have taken care of that.
