For the life of me I can't think of when someone's "efforts" have been criticized by anyone based on "opinion". As a matter of fact, I can't even think when the subject of someone's "efforts" have ever been discussed on this audio board or others.
I do recall seeing people raise legitimate questions about measurement results and claims; questions similar to the ones I first learned to ask in my high school science courses. Candidly, I certainly never saw anyone react to those type of questions in either high school or college the way I have seen many react here.
