John, I am a mastering engineer, I got frustrated with equipment design 24 years ago and decided to be in control of the signal. Now that I have many works, could you possibly look into material that is properly done (not much you can buy now) to evaulate your products?Latest product on redbook, eats all my sacd's.
Reason, I do mastering analog and transfer to 32bit (or more if needed) (and the 40 to 90K harmonics that are there that change the shape of the audible frequencies) are left intact and all of what I do is convincing. Another set of ears in this is something I can send pro bono. You game?
And, the wave shaping counteracts with what happens that is destroyed in redbook.
