I guess I used Teflon as an example. Maybe the question should be: is there any other type of plastic that would produce quiter records, less prone to warpage, wear and noise. Maybe this is the wrong forum. I believed that plastics were made by scientists. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they are made by elves in the forest.
