For anyone who may be interested in my little "is there any difference?" audio test program, it's been updated and can be downloaded fromhttp://www.libinst.com/Audio DiffMaker.htm
Changes:
-It's now freeware, noncommercial, and with no timeout.
-It is able to combine and compact related sets of WAV files to ease saving and up/downloading to the net. (The combined file is called a ".dyf" file. After the new version of DiffMaker has been installed, double-clicking on a 'dyf' file in Explorer will start DiffMaker up ready to play the files).
-New stuff was added to the Help Files, better explanations and discussions about need for high-pricey gear in the test system, basic immunity to masking effects, and what it can and can't determine.
-It has a simple 'Play-only' mode that hides most of the controls and leaves only the ones needed to listen to files that have been already made. Thanks, all of you who have tried this out.
