At subwoofer frequencies a bipole design (in phase drivers mounted on opposite sides of an enclosure) is essentially the same as a monopole design decause of the long wavelengths involved relative to the size of the enclosure.Both Bipole and Monopole are different than Dipole because out of phase bass is trapped inside their enclosures.
