I have been talking to my speaker designer who has been testing his design using Berillium. The cost factor is like 5X as much and is really hard to work with.As with going the other extreme ,below 20Hz., it is more of a feeling I bet using drivers that extend further than normal listening ranges.
I wonder what animals do when hearing systems that can go to the extremes.
I also wonder what adding an ST might impose on the presentation or dynamics of a system. DOes it push out anyhting is my question?
