I have an old Nonesuch recording that claims that there is a stopped 32' rank (sorry, I think of them as 64' ranks, for the obvious reasons) in the organ.I grant you they cost a lot for very little return. Unless you like to shake the snow off the roof :)
I've seen quite some stopped 32' ranks elsewhere. The ones I mention come to mind because they actually got a fair amount of their energy on to the old LP. I'm about 4000 miles away from the LP at the minute or I'd tell you more.
