However in general it is worth noting that in all the material the furthest point back in the electrical supply chain they go is the building service panel. Moreover they make note that much of the noise that must be dealt with is internal to the building itself.
Thus while the material may not be about the residential home setting per see it should nonetheless be clear that much can be accomplished without consideration of the wiring from the service inlet to the power company transformer ... not to mention the lesser significance of the miles of high voltage wiring from the power company transformer to the power plant, the possible significance of which really does take some exercise in imagination. :)
