It depends on how shitty the CF is (many commercial ones are awful, many more amateur designs are worse). The one I pointed you to does NOT have an output coupling cap and is a competent design. TVCs are a different issue entirely, so I'm not sure why you're throwing that one in the pot.Past that, it all depends on the psychology and mindset of the young lady, coupled with her degree of coaching. Should I assume from the rapidity of response that you didn't build the CF from the article I referenced, didn't run any kind of controlled listening test, and are using your imagination to decide ahead of time how it's going to work?
