That's because my response is straight forward indisputable fact...Great. That and $.75 will still get you a cup of coffee. Back to the questions raised. Based upon your expert knowledge, would you recommend:
a)"why not scrap the output pot (and its 5K load) altogether!"
b)"Alternative, I could replace the 5K pot with a higher value resistor, say 50K. "
c)"But if there's no resistor at all at the crossover (or preamp) output, isn't that the same as having a defacto 10-100M resistance (air, vinyl insulation, etc)?"That might provide useful information.
