I forgive Star Wars a lot but then I remember Lucas saying in an interview "it's my world, I can make it work however I want."The gaff that always gets me are the ones with regards to guns in more "realistic" movies and how many bullets they can actually fire before needing to be reloaded. Example: I still enjoy the movie "Predator." I love it when Jesse Ventura lays waste to the bad guys with his trusty shoulder-slung Minigun. While he certainly could've hauled that gun around, he would not have been able to carry the amount of ammo he fired at the same time much less stayed standing after the first 5 seconds of holding the trigger.
At least they stopped putting silencers on revolvers.
